We've been exactly where you are. Thrown into RevOps roles with high expectations and minimal guidance, learning through trial and error while our careers hung in the balance. Zhenya started in finance and VC before moving to scaling startups, where he spent years building data systems. Haris began in enterprise sales before diving into the startup world, learning the hard way how to build processes that stick and strategies that leadership supports.

Together, we've worked with dozens of clients on complex RevOps challenges. We've made the expensive mistakes, celebrated the breakthrough wins, and figured out what really works. But we remember the frustration of having no roadmap, the stress of making decisions without frameworks, and the imposter syndrome of being the "RevOps expert" while secretly feeling lost.

A massive discussion in the recent Revenue Wizards course I attended was data. More importantly siloed data! Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance are looking at different data. That’s a huge problem! I’ve worked for many different startups that don’t have an overall data strategy which makes the problem even more complex. Most companies claim to be data-driven in their GTM strategy but that is impossible if this is the case. This is where RevOps is crucial. Stitching together GTM data to optimise the full revenue funnel, improve forecast accuracy, root cause analysis across the customer journey, improve your messaging, target the highest propensity accounts, the list goes on… The sooner you adopt RevOps the sooner you can actually claim to have a data-driven GTM motion.
